Kindness can be referred to as an act of showing kindness to another, being kind to others helps to build a stronger bond with them.
What goes around comes around so being kind to people will in the same similitude influence their attitude towards you.
Kindness carries with it a lot of power that is good for your health and vitality. Sharing a little smile or showing concern can drastically reduce depression and anxiety.
At first it might seem foolish to keep the needs and feelings of others in mind, but its all about practice, and it gets easier with time, when we are good to others with time we become less worried about ourselves.
A times stress can push us to act in unkind ways even when we never mean to act in the way we do.
Most times we are under pressure, maybe we are not getting the love and respect or pay we deserve but taking a moment to reflect on the other blessings we have like health, shelter, water, good clothes.
When we have these things in abundance, its easier for us to be more generous.
It is important to note that giving to others in need is a beautiful act and it should be kept in mind that the act of generosity flows in all directions, it feels good to give because you get something out of it.
Usually we tend to be more cheerful towards complete strangers than the people we see and live with everyday because it can be more difficult to be warm and caring towards the people we see routinely or on an everyday basis who occasionally annoy us or treat us rudely.
In the path of showing kindness, challenges always comes our way, people must gossip about you but if you take it too seriously or become too aggressive about it then you are headed in the wrong direction.
One mistake that some people make is that kindness is an achievement but it is not rather it is something that is cultivated.
Kindness brings happiness and happiness is not through taking and consuming but giving and expanding the blessings around
To be happy you have to learn to make your happiness independent from materialism
No act of kindness no matter how small is wasted, everything you sow you will surely reap, even when the person does not deserve it or there is no obvious personal reward in view, just be good
One good turn deserves another
Let's me tell you a short story of how kindness helps, so I had these clothes that I wasn't using again so I decided to dash it out to one small gal living around because one day when I saw the cloth she was wearing sorry to say could pass for a rag.
So I said to my self instead of letting these clothes waste here why don't you give it out, so one day when she was walking pass I called her and told her my intentions and she was happy.
I packaged the clothes and sent to her, immediately the mother saw them she was very excited, her mother use to sell fruits to take care of the family.
Fast forward to few weeks later, I didn't know my act of kindness would repay me, that's how I was driving past and I saw the woman, and I just said I should greet her, that's how this woman just packaged banana and gave to me.
I was like ma I don't have money to pay for this banana and she said I should not worry that she's dashing me, I was so happy that day because I wasn't expecting it.
When you show an act of kindness even if the person does not repay you back, you inspire the person to do same for someone else.
Although some people still struggle with giving and receiving kindness or probably are unsure of how others might perceive it. But you don't have to fall into that category.
Every adult loves care and attention given to them 100% , so also does kids require same portion or even more of what adults receive.
So here are 15 ways you can show kindness to your kids to make them love you more, you may say, oh well my kids already love me, hmm just try and see if the love will not triple lol.
